Frank Miller and Tom Palmer Amazing Spider-Man Annual #14 Cover Doctor Strange Original Art (Marvel, 1980). Doctors Strange and Doom both appear on this striking Frank Miller-designed cover! As the cover blurb points out, the Dread Dormammu made an appearance in this issue as well. He was the feature villain in the popular Doctor Strange movie, and Spider-Man has a hit new solo movie out now as well. The background on this cover has a fantastic use of negative space to form the looming image of the Monarch of Latveria. Crafted in ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The corner box, logo, and header text are all stats on an acetate overlay. The caption box and UPC box are stat paste-ups on the page. The board is toned, with production tape in the margins, and a small half-inch rip in the right side. The backside has some sticky adhesive residue, so it has been placed on a sheet of white paper. A very faded, but legible, Frank Miller autograph is on the UPC box. Overall in Very Good condition.
