DescriptionFrank Miller and Klaus Janson Daredevil #177 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1981). Frank Miller's run on Daredevil (both story and layouts) set a high-water mark that none have ever eclipsed... and this is a book that has had some big-name talent on it over the years! This issue was a key book, as Matt Murdock's old mentor Stick helped him to "fight his inner demons" to regain his radar sense. This stunning cover appears to be ink and Zipatone on Duotone board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". Signed by Frank Miller in the UPC box. All logo, corner box art, and header are stat paste-up on an acetate overlay sheet. The page is tanned with a 2" rip in the left side that is taped from the backside. Overall in Very Good condition.

I have done a preliminary analysis and the total of the hammer prices was $67,550. With BP, the final figure was $80,722.25. That is against the total insurance value of $34,785 or 2.32 x ‘pre-auction estimate’. Incredible, really, so a big thanks.View More Testimonials
