Description

Frank Brunner Doctor Strange #30 Cover Clea Original Art (Marvel, 1978). The Master of the Mystic Arts (along with the lovely Clea) is facing "A Gathering of Fear!" on this stunner of a cover with a fantastic 'worm's eye view' from inside a sewer opening. Brunner is one of the key artists associated with classic Bronze Age Doctor Strange art, in spite of the fact that he didn't really have a long run on the title. Just five internal issues, and then 11 covers total! That makes this a truly rare piece. It was produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 9.75" x 15". The header and logo are stat paste-ups. There are some minor whiteout art clean-ups/corrections, and a minor stain in the right margin. Overall in Excellent condition. Comes with a copy of the printed comic.
