Description

Frank Brunner Doctor Strange #3 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1974). If we asked you to describe your ideal Doctor Strange cover, we could imagine you'd say "he should be fighting the dread Dormammu in a Ditko-esque magical landscape, with Clea at his side." Consider those boxes checked! An amusing bonus is Howard the Duck in the extreme lower right of the image area! He was covered up for the printed version. The printed cover took things a step further with a color scheme that simply cried out for a Blacklight poster version. This masterful mystic image was rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The logo, corner box, and header dressing are all stat paste-ups (some held on with tape). There are minor whiteout art corrections, some adhesive stains, and slight corner wear and edge creasing. Signed by Brunner in the top margin. The cover is toned and in Very Good condition. Comes with a copy of the printed comic.
