Description
Francisco Betancourt El Llanero Solitario (The Lone Ranger) Cover Original Art (Editorial Novaro, c. 1970s). Wonderful painted Lone Ranger cover for the long-running Spanish publication of the title. El Llanero Solitario ran for 250 issues! This appears to be a cover from that series as Betancourt (who signs as "Betan") did covers for that series. There is what appears to be a "# 494" at the bottom margin, but we are not sure if that means the book was continued by a different publisher or something else. Acrylic paint on illustration board with an image area of 10.5" x 14". Signed by the artist on the artwork. In Excellent condition.More information about Francisco Betancourt.
