    Ernie Chan Detective Comics #463 Cover Batman Original Art (DC Comics, 1976). The Caped Crusader finds himself caught in the web of Black Spider (making his debut appearance), who is the latest Gotham vigilante that emulates Batman, but prefers to permanently dispose of villains. There are production notes, and a small preliminary sketch of Black Spider on the verso. The head, logo, and credits box are all stats. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 9.75" x 15". The title, dressing, and UPC box are paste-ups that are lightly toning, there is a .5" tear on the top left corner, light smudges on the sides, adhesive residue on the upper sides and bottom edge, and wear on the top corners. In Very Good condition.
