    Description

Ernie Chan Batman #280 Cover Original Art (DC, 1976). A classic image of Batman swinging on his Bat-line, this time directly at the viewer! Batman is the man with no time for crime on this cover signed by Chan as "Ernie Chua", which was actually his real name. The cover was rendered in ink over graphite on Sparta cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". The logo and header banner are stat paste-ups. The word balloons are hand-lettered paste-ups. After the fact, this piece was hand-colored with watercolors, most likely by Chan himself. Signed by Chan again in the UPC box and in the lower margin. In Very Good condition. Comes with a copy of the printed comic.
