Description

Erik Larsen and Scott Williams The Punisher #24 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1989). An early Erik Larsen cover during his five-issue running on The Punisher! Frank Castle and the Shadowmasters (Yuriko Ezaki, Manzo, and Hatsu Yakamoto) take fire from a heavily-armed helicopter in a scene pulled right from the story "Land of the Eternal Sun". Larsen also credits the art "After Potts", the driving force behind Punisher War Journal and then-Editor of the Punisher titles. Ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". Slight toning, staple holes in the margins, stat logo/header, UPC box, and text paste-ups, bold line border paste-ups, notes in the left margin, with light staining and creasing/handling wear. Signed by the art team in the bottom right image area and margin. In Very Good condition.
