Eric Powell Birth.Movies.Death. Magazine Cover "War for Planet of the Apes" Original Art (Alamo Drafthouse, 2011). The Alamo Drafthouse is famed for that amazing promotional work for the movies they show. That extends to their high-quality magazine Birth.Movies.Death. Most well-known as the creator and artist for The Goon, Eric Powell shows here that he is equally adept at drawing gorillas and chimpanzees! Created in graphite, ink, ink wash, and Conte crayon over printed blue lines on an oversized 22" x 15" bright white Bristol board. Signed in the lower right.
