Description
Eddy Newell Black Lightning V2#4 Cover Original Art (DC, 1995). The highly-charged cover for the story "Lessons" features DC's first black character to carry his own comic book in battle with Painkiller. Black Lightning will have his own TV series soon on the CW network, making it an addition to the growing stable of shows in the "Berlanti-verse". This cover was produced in ink over graphite on DC cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". Signed by Newell in the lower margin. The logo is on an acetate overlay.
