Ed Hannigan and John Beatty Omniverse #3 Unpublished Fanzine Wrap-Around Cover X-Men Original Art (Alternity Enterprises, 1982). Omniverse was a fanzine put out by Mark Gruenwald. The first two issues were produced in 1977 and 1979 respectively. Issue #3 was announced, however it was never published. This appears to be the planned wrap-around cover as produced by Hannigan and Beatty in 1982. The line art was created in ink and Zipatone over graphite on two separate sheets of Bristol board with a combined image area of 21.5" x 13.5". The logo, AE bullet, and text on the front cover are stat paste-ups. There is some glue residue on the art from the paste-ups, and there are some minor stains on the tanned pages. Also included is a color guide produced in color markers on a photocopy of the art. With a cover featured article titled "The Mutants of Marvel-Earth", it is not surprising to see so many X-Men on the cover... Cyclops and Phoenix featured prominently, along with Mimic, Havok, Banshee, the Beast, Sunfire, Dazzler, Storm, Nightcrawler, Wolverine, Angel, Polaris, Iceman and Colossus. Also pictured are the Fantastic Four's own Franklin Richards, Quicksilver, and Magneto. Overall these are in Very Good condition.
