DescriptionEd Hannigan and Al Milgrom Team America #7 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1982). Team America began life as a licensed toy tie-in comic based on Mattel's replacement for the popular Evil Knievel toy line. (Knievel was serving a six month sentence at the time.) The comic book characters origins were linked to a Hydra plot, and they were also eventually revealed to be mutants themselves. This great cover image features Cowboy (with a red ink key line shadow of him on a bucking bronco). There is a printed acetate overlay that has line art from a page from inside this issue (by Luke McDonnell and Vince Colletta). The original art layer is ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". The header, corner box, cover blurb, and logo are stat paste-ups. Overall in Excellent condition.
