Don Rosa The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck - Uncle Scrooge #296 Cover Original Art (Gladstone, 1996). It's Christmas time in Duckburg, but those aren't Santas coming to visit Scrooge and his family, but rather those dastardly Beagle Boys - and it looks like they've snatched McDuck's (lucky) dime! Luckily, Donald, Huey, Dewey, and Louie are also there, but will it be enough to stop those thieving bandits? Eagle-eyed collectors, because we're so fond of you all, we went ahead and did the work (yet again) and found the hidden "D.U.C.K." dedication pattern four coins below the dollar bills in the sack of money. Originally published in 1994 in Denmark by Egmont, the story "The Richest Duck in the World" (aka "The Recluse of of McDuck Manor") is the final installment of the original 12 chapters in the series The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck. Cover was created in ink and white paint on Bristol board with an image area of 11" x 13". Slight toning and light smudging/handling wear. Signed by Rosa in the upper right corner.
