What a unique chance to be able to offer you this first cover of the adventures of the famous Uncle Scrooge Life and Times Of Scrooge McDuck #1 from the legend Don Rosa ! Originally published in 1992 in Denmark by Egmont, the story "The Last of the Clan McDuck" is Chapter 1 of The Life and Times of $crooge McDuck. The illustration depicts an older Scrooge McDuck nostalgically reminiscing on his adventures as a young duck, and how he acquired his lucky number one dime. This story was reprinted in the US for the first time in Uncle Scrooge #285 in 1994. Eagle-eyed collectors will notice the hidden dedication pattern in Scrooge's photo album, which reads "D.U.C.K." -- a hidden Easter egg for any hardcore fan. This cover was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image size of approximately 11" x 12.25". Whiteout correction/clean-up, and handling wear. Signed by Rosa in the lower left margin. In Excellent condition.
