Don Heck and Frank Giacoia - Original Cover Art for X-Men #37 (Marvel, 1967). A pulse-pounding, all-out action cover as Marvel's Merriest Mutants, the unflappable X-Men, take on the malevolent Mutant-Master, leader of the infamous Factor Three! This classic large art Silver Age cover measures approximately 15"x 22" overall, with an image area of approximately 13" x 21", and is in excellent condition. The title and logos are all stats, and the figures of The Angel and Iceman are paste-overs, but are all original art. There is a certain amount of white-out in evidence, but it is used sparingly and does not in any way detract from this stunning image. Vintage large art covers, particularly those featuring A-level characters like the X-Men, are becoming more and more difficult to find, as they tend to find homes in permanent collections rather quickly. This is a great action cover featuring the whole team, and is not an opportunity to be passed up lightly.
