Dick Sprang World's Finest Archives, Volume 1 Cover Original Art (DC, 1999). We believe this to be the last professional comic art of Dick Sprang's glorious career! Sprang was the primary artist for many of the great team stories in World's Finest, and DC was lucky enough to lure this old master out of retirement when they planned the first of a series of reprint volumes of that Superman/Batman title. Sprang created the cover to the first volume, an iconic pose of the three Super Friends that will be sure to please the many fans who consider him the "good Batman artist." Ink and blue pencil on a sheet of DC artboard, with an image area of approximately 9" x 8.5". Signed and dated on the back by Dick Sprang. In Excellent condition.Lookup the Comic Book in our Guide
