Dick Sprang - Original Art Cover Recreation for Batman #25 (1995). Dick Sprang did an incredible job on this Batman cover re-creation. This is one of the very best covers in the run, and it has been faithfully illustrated by the original artist. Dick Sprang wrote a note on the back saying, "I designed and rendered this concept for use as the cover of Batman No. 25, published Oct.,- Nov., 1944. 48 years later, I've recreated (2) in its original size... penciling, inking and coloring it in my Arizona studio. Dick Sprang July, 1992." This huge piece is on thick illustration board measuring 15" x 20".
