Dick Briefer Frankenstein #7 Cover Recreation Original Art (1980). Perhaps best known for his work on the Golden Age Frankenstein, Dick Briefer drew all 33 issues, both straight horror and slapstick comedy versions. His was a unique and versatile talent. This whimsical oil on canvas board painting, painted in the year of Briefer's death, has an image size of approximately 19" x 23", and it has been matted and framed to an overall size of 24.5" x 28.5". The art is in Excellent condition. Signed by Dick Briefer at the lower right. From the Estate of John McLaughlin.
