Description
Dave Johnson Star Spangled Comics #1 Sandman and Star Spangled Kid Cover Original Art Group of 2 (DC, 1999). A stoic headshot of Star Spangled Kid and an action pose of Sandman were layered together for the cover of one of the nine "Justice Society Returns" one-shots that heralded the revival of the Golden Age superhero team. Ink on Bristol board with an image area of 11.5" x 8.5"; the headshot is rendered in graphite on coquille board with an image area of 5.25" x 5". Both are signed and dated by Johnson in the image area. In Excellent condition.More information about Dave Johnson.
