Dave Johnson Sensation Comics #1 Wonder Woman and Hawkgirl Cover Original Art (DC, 1999). The cover art for this sensational cover was created in two pieces. The background is a lovely image of the Amazing Amazon. It was created in graphite on 8.5" x 7" coquille board. The foreground piece features the Winged Wonder in all her feathered finery. (Hawkgirl/Hawkwoman's mask is one of the most iconic masks of the Silver Age.) It was created in ink over graphite on the reverse side of bright white 11" x 17" DC Bristol board. Both pieces of art are signed/dated in the image areas. In Excellent condition.More information about Dave Johnson.
