Dave Cockrum and John Romita Sr. Incredible Hulk #207 Cover Defenders Original Art (Marvel, 1977). Dave Cockrum is not only known for his standout artwork on X-men, but the talented artist also created eye-catching covers for many of Marvel's top titles. Here Cockrum provides a dramatic image of Dr. Strange, Nighthawk, Valkyrie, and Red Guardian trying to stop their rampaging teammate. And as an added bonus, legendary artist John Romita Sr. added his little touches to the piece, with slight corrections throughout, including the Hulk's head and Valkyrie. Ink over graphite and blue pencil on cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". Slight toning, taped logo, header, and text paste-ups, spot and residue staining, tape residue and pinholes in the top margin, whiteout corrections, with some rippling at the top.
