Dan Jurgens and Sal Amendola Warlord #79 Cover Original Art (DC Comics, 1984). Originally created by superstar Mike Grell, "Warlord" had a healthy run throughout the 1970s and into the 80s. Travis Morgan is an Air Force pilot lost in the world of Skartaris; as Warlord he continues to make appearances in the DC Universe to this day. The cover offered here is a beautiful rendition of Warlord, Sjakira, and Krystovar, and would make a stunning addition to any DC Bronze Age collection. Sal Amendola has signed in the bottom area. Created in ink and white paint over graphite on DC Comics Bristol board with image area of 10" x 15". With some toning in the page; DC logo and title text are stat paste-ups, light dust shadows along the edges, soft creases and corner bumps, and production notes and tape in the borders. In Very Good condition.
