Daan Jippes Walt Disney's Mickey & Donald #1 Couverture Originale (Gladstone, 1988). Carl Barks et Floyd Gottfredson ont influencé de nombreux dessinateurs, dont certains ont continué à construire leur propre carrière avec Disney. Mais aucun des artistes ultérieurs n'a retrouvé le 'look and feel' de Barks et Gottfredson sur les personnages de bandes dessinées classiques de Disney avec autant de succès que Daan Jippes. Comme tous les fans qui ont grandi sous un régime de bandes dessinées Disney, Jippes a découvert qu'il pouvait revenir aux histoires qu'il aimait dans son enfance et de s'inspirer des thèmes et des techniques des maîtres. Cette superbe couverture rend hommage à Donald et Mickey Merry Christmas (1949). Encre sur papier Bristol avec une zone d'image de 27 x 30 cm. Signé. Carl Barks and Floyd Gottfredson have influenced many cartoonists, some of whom went on to build their own careers with Disney. But none of the later artists have recaptured the look and feel of Barks' and Gottfredson's takes on the classic Disney comic characters as successfully as Daan Jippes. Like all fans who grew up on a diet of Disney comics, Jippes found that he could return to the stories that he loved as a child, and draw new inspiration from the masters' themes and techniques. This beautiful cover paid homage to Donald and Mickey Merry Christmas (1949). Ink on Bristol board with an image area of 11" x 15". Signed. In Excellent condition.
