Curt Swan and Neal Adams Superman's Girl Friend, Lois Lane #80 Cover Original Art (DC, 1968). Big Blue is in for a super-break-up! Lois Lane's "solo" title was shifting gears with the shifting times. Lois was in the middle of getting an updated wardrobe, and stories in which she was the actual star. It was part of DC's attempt to "get relevant" to modern society. This striking cover mixes the "old style" with the "new" by being penciled by long-time Superman artist Swan, and inked by dynamic new-guy Adams. The art was created in ink over blue pencil and graphite on DC cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The logo is a stat paste-up. There are whiteout art clean-ups on the board, and a small discolored area in the lower right. Toned and in Very Good condition.
