DescriptionCurt Swan and Neal Adams Superman #314 Cover Flash and Green Lantern Original Art (DC, 1977). It's hard to pick who did better Superman covers... Curt Swan or Neal Adams. Here you get both on the same cover! The comic art legends also signed the cover in the lower image area. Be sure to check out that classic Curt Swan Silver Age style costume on Amalak... chest emblem, shoulder rolls, wide belt... it could easily have been a Legion of Super-Heroes costume. Actually produced in the Bronze Age, it also features those fast-friends, the Flash and Green Lantern, in their then-current style. Produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The DC bullet, logo, and text are stat paste-ups. The original "Swan & Adams" credit on the cover was covered in whiteout and moved up. The bar of glue residue on the bottom right is left from the missing "You could be in the Superman Movie" paste-up banner. Overall this is slightly tanned and in Very Good condition.
