Curt Swan and Murphy Anderson Superman #246 Cover Original Art (DC, 1971). Aside from the improbable situation on the cover for the Len Wein story "Danger -- Monster at Work!", this issue is also known for the first appearance of S.T.A.R. Labs. This cover was rendered in ink over graphite on Sparta cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The corner box, logo, CCA stamp, price, and all other header info are stat paste-ups.
