Description

Claus D. Scholz Die Spinne Comic - Taschenbuch #30 German Spider-Man Cover Original Art (Marvel/Condor, 1986). This cover, wrapping a German edition collecting Web of Spider-Man #11-13, features a split image of Spidey's most iconic costumes (the classic blue/red and the symbiotic black in one of its earliest foreign appearances) as he shatters through a background featuring the diverse lineup of J. Jonah Jameson, Puma, and...a pistol-toting, cigarette smoking Santa Claus?! Germany's own Krampus has nothing on this guy. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with a 9.25" x 9.5" image area; notes in the top margin and small tears to the top edge. Signed by artist Claus D. Scholz and in Excellent condition.
