    Charles Vess A Fall of Stardust Portfolio Cover Original Art (Green Man Press, 1999). This exotic fantasy portfolio publication contained Susanna Clarke's eight-page chapbook, "The Duke of Wellington Misplaces His Horse," a chapbook by Neil Gaiman, 12 pages long including the cover and titled "Wall, A Prologue," and 29 full-color plates by various artists. Modern fantasy master Charles Vess has worked as an illustrator for National Lampoon, Heavy Metal, Readers Digest, and he has also drawn and painted scores of pages of comic book pages for both Marvel and DC. Vess has also illustrated Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and a version of "Little Red Riding Hood." The image area of this magical scene, used on the cover for the portfolio measures 11.5" x 18", and it's in Excellent condition. Signed at the lower right.
