Description

Carmine Infantino and Murphy Anderson The Flash #135 Cover Original Art (DC, 1963). Silver Age Flash covers by Carmine Infantino are scarce, and this is only the fifth we've had the privilege to offer. Can the Fastest Teen Alive keep up with the Speed Force? The Flash, supercharged by alien tech, unleashes a wave of mental energy that transforms Kid Flash's costume and launches their quest for three powerful weapons. This scene explodes with Silver Age energy, driven by Infantino, the artist most responsible for the Flash's iconic visual identity. His design sense and storytelling rhythm set the tone for DC's new era. With Murphy Anderson's clean, expressive inks, this cover stands as a showcase of the talent and transformation that defined the time. Created twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.75". Signed by Infantino and editor Julius Schwartz in the top margin. Light toning, with stat logo and story title paste-ups, pinholes in the left margin, light smudging, two 0.25" tears on the left margin (does not affect image area), and edge/handling wear. In Very Good condition.
From the Keif Fromm Estate.
