Carlos Pacheco and Tim Townsend Steve Rogers: Super-Soldier #1 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 2010). An unmasked, modern Captain America dominates the forefront, aiming his gun with a hardened resolve that signals he's had enough and is ready to break all the rules. In stark contrast, the background features a Golden Age Cap flanked by American soldiers during World War II, standing as a symbol of unwavering hope and idealism. The juxtaposition of these two images highlights the evolution of Captain America, contrasting his moral certainty of the past with the hardened complexities of the present. Ink over blue pencil on the back of Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 10.25" x 15.25". Title, logo, and creator credit stat paste-ups are reproductions. Minor smudging, whiteout touch-ups, and minor corner/handling wear. Signed by Townsend in the lower right of image area. In Excellent condition.
