    Description

Bryan Hitch and Paul Neary Marvel Previews #1 Cover Original Art and Poster Group of 2 (Marvel, 2003). This fantastic image of assorted characters from the main Marvel Universe and the Ultimates Universe graced the cover of issue #1 of their separate monthly retail catalog. Marvel had pulled their listings out of the Diamond Previews catalog to be in a separate book that they controlled. A great image, Marvel also offered it as a retail poster that same month. An unopened rolled copy of that poster is included with this wonderful art, created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 19". Signed by both Hitch and Neary and matted to 19.5" x 26.5", this beauty is ready to frame and hang in your Universe! In Excellent condition.

I have done a preliminary analysis and the total of the hammer prices was $67,550. With BP, the final figure was $80,722.25. That is against the total insurance value of $34,785 or 2.32 x ‘pre-auction estimate’. Incredible, really, so a big thanks.
