Description
Brian Bolland Batman #447 Cover Original Art (DC, 1990). Check out this incredibly innovative cover by master cover artist Brian Bolland. The body of the news articles and the top-lines of text are printed paste-ups (that have discolored slightly). However, the newspaper header and headlines are all hand-lettered. That includes the highly detailed and intricate badges (check out the 1940s style Batman in one of them). The main image is created in ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15".
