DescriptionBob Oksner Superman #286 Cover Original Art (DC, 1975). "Go, Superman Statue -- It's now up to you!" Superman always has a backup plan. This fun Bronze Age cover gives up two great images of Superman, one as the Man of Steel and one as the Man of Stone, both from the hand of Bob Oksner who signed in ink on the lower image area. Produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15.5". The logo, DC bullet, and all cover text are paste-up. The logo and top paste-up appear to be vintage, but may not be from the actual published cover. The heads of Lex Luthor and the Parasite are original art. With only slight tanning otherwise, this is in Excellent condition.
