Description

Bob Larkin Punisher: A Man Named Frank Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1994). What if the Punisher lived in the Old West? Writer Chuck Dixon imagined that possibility and tells the story of a farmer whose family is killed, leading the man to become a bounty hunter and search the wild west for the outlaws that destroyed his life. Larkin captures the rustic feel of the period as Castle is garbed in clothing of the time, with the telltale skull of the Punisher emblazoned on his shirt, rifle and six-shooter in hand, dealing a timeless brand of vengeance to the bandits. Sundown warms the cover painting created in gouache on 15.5" x 22" illustration board. Signed by Larkin in the lower right image area. Corner ding at the top right, color loss along the top edge, with light handling wear; otherwise, in Excellent condition.
