Bill Sienkiewicz Moon Knight #24 Back Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1982). Bill Sienkiewicz's definitive run on Moon Knight (#22-30) in the early 80s set both him and the character apart from the rest of the Marvel Universe. Dark in tone, it was the Batman book that many people had been wanting, only it wasn't held back by all the Bat-trappings. And being a direct-only book, it allowed Marvel to experiment with format, such as using the back cover to sell the next issue instead of cheesy posters or continuing education courses. Major pieces from this run of issues rarely come to market. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with original stats and original acetate overlay. Image area is 9.75" x 15". This is in Excellent condition.
