Description
Bill Sienkiewicz and Frank Miller Lone Wolf and Cub Deluxe Edition Cover Original Art (First Publishing, 1988). A striking (and very bloody) dust jacket cover, rendered in mixed media by Bill Sienkiewicz from Frank Miller's penciled version (which was itself used on the bound cover), from the volume reprinting the first six books of the epic samurai saga by writer Kazuo Koike and artist Goseki Kajima. No one handles "splatter" quite like Sienkiewicz, who makes Miller's design literally jump off the page. The art is on paper, with an approximate image area of 9" x 12", and is matted to an overall 13" x 16". In Excellent condition.
