    Description

    Bill Elder Cracked #10 Back Cover Brigitte Bardot Original Art (Major Publications, 1959). Brigitte Bardot from the backside in the shower. The guys at Cracked sure knew how to sell a magazine! Her 1959 "towel session" photographs was an instant sensation, inspiring even the knuckleheads at Cracked. This back cover gag was the reverse image of the front cover of the issue, which is also being offered in this auction (see Lot 91004). The image was produced on Duotone board, then cut and pasted onto this illustration board. All text is paste-up and has discolored extensively. The image area (including paste-up text) is 12.5" x 15", with the art area initialed by Elder in the lower left corner. Overall in Very Good condition. From The Cracked Vault Collection.
