Description
Ben Templesmith Hellspawn #10 Cover Original Art Group of 2 (Image, 2001). With eyes burning bright and his form swallowed by smoke, Spawn becomes a scorched silhouette -- an eerie icon cut out against a hellish glow in this atmospheric Templesmith mood piece for the horror-forward, noir-toned Spawn spin-off. This lot includes both the original linework by Templesmith and the final artwork. The linework is rendered in ink over graphite on paper with an image area of 8.25" x 11.75". The final piece, which represents the published version, is a print of the original linework that has been hand-colored with mixed media, with an image area of 7.25" x 11".
