Arvell Jones and Mike Machlan All-Star Squadron #52 Cover Captain Marvel Original Art (DC, 1985). Well, Shazam! Captain Marvel takes a bolt of black lighting on this cover that also features Earth-2 heroes Liberty Belle, Green Lantern (Alan Scott), and Johnny Quick. This issue was a Crisis on Infinite Earths tie-in issue that popped the Earth-2 heroes into Earth-S (before both worlds would ultimately be destroyed). The World's Mightiest Mortal will be turning up in his own movie soon, albeit titled Shazam instead of "Captain Marvel" (due to legal stuff). This cover was created in ink over graphite on Sparta cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". Signed by Mike Machlan next to the UPC Box. Lightly toned and in Excellent condition. The published cover featured additional inking embellishments from Dick Giordano; however, this is the pure Mike Machlan-inks.
