Description
Arthur Adams Micronauts: The Original Marvel Years Omnibus Volume 3 Variant Cover Original Art (1983). Created before his first published comics work, this Micronauts pin-up captures ambition at full force. Baron Karza towers over a full cast lineup, with Karza's guards forming a wall behind him. Arthur Adams drew this piece in May 1983 as an unpublished showpiece. It reads like a love letter to the Micronauts era defined by Michael Golden, whose work inspired Adams to pursue comics as a career. This original art is the previously unpublished black-and-white pin-up later reused by Marvel for the Direct Market Arthur Adams variant for Volume 3 of Micronauts: The Original Marvel Years Omnibus. Created in bold black inks with white paint highlights over graphite on Bristol board. It has a matted image area of 10" x 15". Signed and dated 5-83 in the top edge of the image area.
