DescriptionArthur Adams Fantastic Four #166 Penciled Thing vs. Hulk Cover Re-Creation Original Art (undated). Iconic illustrator Adams has detailed the classic Marvel heavyweight match-up of the Hulk vs. the Thing in his superb re-creation of the 1976 classic, originally drawn by Rich Buckler and Dan Adkins. In that issue, the federal government asked Reed Richards to take the Fantastic Four to the Midwest to apprehend the Hulk. The fabulous foursome successfully captures the Hulk and hands the behemoth over to the military. It looks like mission accomplished -- until the Thing becomes disgusted over the harsh treatment of Bruce Banner. Will the Thing free the rampaging Hulk? This fantastic penciled cover scene, drawn in graphite and blue pencil, has an image area of 13.5" x 20.5", and is in Excellent condition.
