Arthur Adams DC / Marvel: Superman / Spider-Man #1 Variant Cover Original Art (DC/Marvel, 2026). A cross-company crossover as major as Superman / Spider-Man demanded strong and eye-catching covers from some of comics' most revered artists. As such, it's no surprise that Arthur Adams was tapped to create one of the issue's many variant covers. Adams' bold artwork captures Marvel's wall-crawler and DC's Man of Steel mid-air, with Superman striking a powerful pose that showcases his might and strength, while Spidey shows off his acrobatic skills and nimble agility as he web-swings.The striking image of both comic icons is impressive even at a glance, but if you look beyond the bold black ink and into the background, you'll find the intricate, meticulous blue pencil grid lines that make Adams' style so sharp and refined. The precision found in even the minor details, such as the architecture of the buildings, elevates this already compelling piece to heroic heights alongside its iconic subjects. Rendered in ink over blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 10.25" x 15.75". Marginal pinholes, some light smudging, whiteout touch-ups, and corner creasing. Signed and dated in the lower image area. In Excellent condition.
