Description
Ariel Olivetti Venom: Space Knight #1 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 2016). When most fans think of Venom, they picture antihero Eddie Brock with a mouth full of sharp teeth and an elongated tongue, but the former Daily Bugle photographer isn't the only character in Peter Parker's social circle to have bonded with the amorphous symbiote! Flash Thompson, Parker's former high school classmate and bully, had a five-year tenure as the symbiote's host, including a period in outer space fighting alongside the Guardians of the Galaxy! This cover, taken from the first issues of the Venom: Space Knight solo title set during that period of storytelling, features the heroic cosmic Venom rescuing Cora and her children from the jaws of the deadly were-fish. Olivetti created the cover using graphite over blue pencil on the back of a Dark Horse Bristol board with an image area of 9.5" x 15.5". There is some slight residue staining in the lower left corner. Signed and dated by the artist and in Excellent condition.Lookup the Comic Book in our Guide
