Alex Schomburg All-New Comics #11 Captain Red Blazer and Boy Heroes Cover Original Art (Harvey, 1946). Captain Red Blazer and Sparky lead the Boy Heroes on a savage, give-no-quarter beach invasion in this classic World War II era cover. It was typical of Alex Schomburg to label his crowded Golden Age backgrounds so that the young readers would not misinterpret the action, and as a result, the enemy stronghold has "Jap Pillbox" clearly written its side. This Golden Age spectacular has an image area of 12.5"x 18", and the piece has been matted and framed to an overall size of 21.5" x 27".
