Alex Ross The Torch #1 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 2009). Flame engulfs Jim Hammond, the original Human Torch -- an evocative image from the first issue of the series featuring the return of the Golden Age hero by Alex Ross. The burning figure stands out on the stark black background rendered in gouache on Bristol board with an image area of 12" x 18.25", matted and glass-front framed to 21.25" x 27.5".
