Description
Al Milgrom (Attributed) Super Spider-Man #198 Cover Original Art (Marvel UK, 1976). This original cover was created for the UK issue that reprinted part of the story from Amazing Spider-Man #149 "Even If I Live, I Die!" This was, of course, part of the infamous "Spider-Clone" story arc that would surface again decades later. There is some speculation that the art for this cover was created by the team of Larry Lieber and Al Milgrom, who have produced several other covers for this title. There is a stamp on the back that is almost unreadable; however, the penciler blank seems to indicate that Al Milgrom handled the pencils at least. Ink over pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 13.75" x 10". The logo (top and side) are stat paste-ups. There are some missing paste-up stats which have left glue residue in their place.
