    Description

Al Jaffee MAD #490 Inside Back Cover Fold-In Illustration Painting Original Art (EC, 2008). Jaffee follows the "Indiana Jones" theme of the issue with an image of the adventuring archeologist swinging into more trouble for the long-running Fold-In feature. This image asks "What frightening ancient relic will be the focus of much attention and fanfare this summer?", with the hidden image showing Senator and presidential candidate John McCain. Rendered in Gouache on illustration board with an image area of 14.5" square. The slightly toned board has tape around the image, with light handling wear. Signed by Jaffee in the lower right image area. In Excellent condition. From the Al Jaffee Junk Shop Collection.
