Al Avison (attributed) True Love Problems and Advice Illustrated #34 Cover Original Art (Harvey, 1955). A man's painting gets interrupted by romance in this cover illustration that we attribute to prolific Golden Age artist Al Avison. His work can be seen from the superheroes of Timely Comics to the popular horror anthologies of Harvey. Rendered in ink over graphite on paper with an image size of 10.5" x 16". The toned piece has a stat logo, header, and text paste-ups, pinholes in the top margin, red key lines for additional effects, and edge wear.
