Description
Al Avison (attributed) True Love Problems and Advice Illustrated #18 Cover Original Art (Harvey, 1952). Don't be left peeping through the porthole while another bidder walks off with this romance cover! The caption explains that "she" has made the "ugliest mistake a girl can make!" It is for the lead story in the issue, "Foolish Illusion". Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The entire masthead/logo is a printed replacement paste-up that was created from the cover of Issue #31. The lower caption is the original stat paste-up. The toned art board has glue residue and one of the paste-up paper mask strips is missing. In Good condition.Lookup the Comic Book in our Guide
