Adam Hughes X-Men Classic #75 Cover Rogue and Colossus Original Art (Marvel, 1992). The cover text proclaimed "Welcome to the X-Men Rogue -- Hope you survive the experience!" This was a call-back to the classic cover that welcomed Kitty Pryde to the X-Men. This very popular title reprinted stories from the late Bronze Age of the Uncanny X-Men, this issue from 1983's #171. Adam Hughes has long been a fan-favorite artist for his incredibly lovely drawings of women. This deft image from early in his cover-illustration career shows the clean-lines and crisp, charismatic charm his work is known for. This cover is produced in ink and Zipatone over graphite with red ink key lines on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". There is glue residue in the margins from the paste-over mask that framed the cover for shooting. It is otherwise in Excellent condition.
